I
honestly believe that the SOS camps are the best off season environment
for college exposure & skill development a player could possibly ask for…I
had numerous college coaches comment that they would not have known about
Paul McIntosh if it wasn’t for the SOS camp.
I have had many players over the
years attend SOS camps and have been very pleased with the progress that
my athletes have made in the passing game both offensively and
defensively. I am both proud and excited to be able to host a SOS passing
camp this spring at North Central High School.
The SOS camp has been a
tremendous tool to help Arlington High School develop our players. Not
only do they get quality instruction, but it gives our athletes a chance
to evaluate their own talents against those of kids from all over the
state." As a coach at the camp, I appreciate the quality instruction and
the enthusiasm displayed by the staff."
The SOS camps provide our
players with a great opportunity to work on their football skills in the
spring under the guidance of some excellent coaches. Because of the many
fine players the camp is attracting, a young player also has an
opportunity to measure himself against some very good players. This can
be a highly motivating tool to players who want to compete at a high
level.
SOS football camp is a
great experience for all kids. We recently had our first varsity season
and we took 7 players. They all had a great time and learned a lot. The
reinforcement coming from other coaches and the different types of drills
are awesome for them to see. I expect that we will have 12-15 players
this year because of the positive learning experience my players received
at camp. I have kids ask me weekly when does SOS start again! This is
the best thing that has happened to Indiana football, since the all in
tournament.
